About
Mr. Moyse has been engaged in the practice of Aboriginal law and public law for 31 years, advising several successive provincial governments as a member of the BC Ministry of Attorney General’s Legal Services Branch.
Mr. Moyse has returned from a short period of retirement to advise private clients on Aboriginal law matters and related strategic policy issues, and to provide general education on Canadian Aboriginal law and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Mr. Moyse was appointed King’s Counsel in 2013.

Aboriginal Law
Mr. Moyse’s preferred areas of practice are Canadian Aboriginal Law, Constitutional Law, and Public Law, including the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Strategic Policy Consulting
Mr. Moyse is committed to strategic thinking in the provision of legal advice and can offer services in the form of strategic policy advice in addition to the provision of legal advice, within the context of his preferred areas of practice.
Educational Consulting
In order to understand legal advice it is most helpful to have a sound education in and understanding of the history, nature and breadth of applicable areas of law. Mr. Moyse can offer extensive legal education with respect to his preferred areas of practice, and, in particular, Canadian Aboriginal Law and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
